Full-Time $60,000–$80,000 total compensation, with high performers earning $90,000+

Position Overview

Our well-established State Farm agency (serving Gaithersburg and the surrounding communities since 1996) is looking for a licensed, bilingual (Spanish/English) insurance sales professional who can hit the ground running. This is a sales role built for a proven producer — not an entry-level or customer-service position.

Here is what makes this opportunity different: you will not be starting from zero. Our agency has thousands of existing customer households already on the books waiting for someone to reach out, review their coverage, and round out their accounts with auto, renters, life, and health. These are warm, existing customers — not cold calls. Sponsored internet leads are also provided to keep your pipeline full.

What You’ll Do

• Work through our large book of existing households to cross-sell auto, fire, renters, life, and health
• Quote, follow up, and close new business from warm in-book opportunities and provided internet leads
• Handle the full sales process — quotes, rewrites, renters, multi-line account reviews, and policy binding
• Build lasting relationships with our customers and deliver a professional, needs-based sales experience
• Meet or exceed monthly production goals, with a focus on growing auto and life
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity and follow-up in our agency systems

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required (Life & Health a strong plus)
• Bilingual — fluent in Spanish and English — required
• Previous insurance sales experience required; State Farm experience a plus
• Proven ability to close — you know how to uncover needs, present solutions, and ask for the business
• Self-motivated and driven — you take initiative without being micromanaged
• Organized with strong follow-up and pipeline management skills

Compensation

• Total compensation of $60,000–$80,000, with high performers earning $90,000+
• Lucrative, uncapped production bonus — percentage of premium written, plus kickers that increase your payout when you hit life production milestones
