Human Resources Generalist

The HR Generalist supports this purpose by supporting the company with hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices .

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

the essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not necessarily limited to: Creates and executes strategy for effective staffing of all company positions. Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Perform all HR functions as it relates to employee relations, duties included but not limited to: fact-finding investigations, having an open door for employee concerns/complaints, make recommendations to management team based on HR perspective, complete corrective actions in partnership with corporate HR team. Primary contact for employee relations issues for MD retail and Colorado operations divisions. Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Supports VPHR on new initiatives, company policy changes, policy revisions, and roll outs. Responsible for the new hire process for all MD Retail and Colorado warehouse needs—ensure all new employees complete their onboarding via Paycom. HRIS & POS input support--including inputting all new hires into HRIS and POS systems. Administers, promotes, and educates employees on benefit programs such as medical, dental, prescription drug, group life & AD&D insurance, 401k retirement plan, TDI, manages open enrollment Oversee all training functions of the Colorado facilities, including but not limited to; completing training needs assessments, creating training, executing training, and tracking that all training is consistently completed. Implement a succession plan for the Elevations facility, to stay on top of filling positions once any threat of turnover is identified. Support performance review process by partnering with management team to offer feedback from an HR Standpoint, offer guidance on ratings, and ensuring timely execution of all performance reviews.
