Step into an influential role supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development as a School Psychologist on a contract assignment in the Providence, RI area. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with educators and families to create positive, supportive learning environments while fostering student success.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist certification for the state
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, School Psychology, or a related field
• Strong background in administering assessments and developing data-driven interventions
• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education regulations
• Excellent communication and consultation skills with students, parents, and faculty
• Ability to address diverse student needs using evidence-based practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational assessments
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized educational plans in collaboration with school teams
• Deliver counseling and intervention services to students individually or in small groups
• Support students’ behavioral and emotional needs, and provide crisis intervention as needed
• Consult with teachers and staff to design academic and behavioral interventions
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support holistic student progress
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in accordance with district and legal requirements
