Today, our Advanced and Minimally Invasive Surgery program continues this legacy through cutting-edge, innovative techniques—including robotic surgery.**Position Overview**Robotic Surgery Physician Assistants support a wide range of surgical specialties, including:* General Surgery* Colorectal* Bariatrics* Gynecology* UrologyIn this role, you will function as a key member of the surgical care team, with responsibilities that include:* Providing intraoperative bedside assistance during robotic procedures* Rounding with surgical teams to evaluate and manage patients* Writing progress notes and placing orders* Performing bedside procedures as needed* Delivering coordinated, high-quality care across the patient journeyYou will serve as a frontline provider, ensuring continuity of care for surgical patients throughout their hospital stay.### **Schedule*** Monday–Friday, flexible shift coverage### ### **Preferred Qualifications*** At least 1 year of experience in surgical inpatient medicine### ### **Required Qualifications*** At least 1 year of experience in robotic surgery* Experience with Intuitive Surgical systems (Xi, X, and/or dV5)### ### **Licensing & Certifications*** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program* Current New York State PA licensure* NCCPA certification* Current ACLS and BLS certifications* NYS Infection Control certification* DEA registration with NYS Opioid Prescriber Training complianceJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
