Accounting Clerk / Title Clerk

Gary Crossley Ford is looking for a detail oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk / Title Clerk to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting dealership operations.

This position will primarily assist our accounting department while providing support with vehicle title processing. As our dealership prepares for Missouri's upcoming dealer vehicle registration program, this role will evolve to include vehicle registration responsibilities, offering an exciting opportunity to grow within the position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting functions, including posting transactions and account reconciliations
• Support accounting activities
• Assist with vehicle title processing and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time
• Maintain organized records and files in compliance with dealership and state requirements
• Cross-train in dealership administrative functions
• Transition into handling vehicle registrations as Missouri's new registration program is implemented

Qualifications

• Accounting, bookkeeping, or office administration experience preferred
• Automotive dealership experience is a plus but not required
• Title processing experience is helpful but training will be provided
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent data entry and computer skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new processes
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
