Setting 4 (highest behaviors and most severe disabilities)

In-person, full-time (37.5 paid hours/week)

Tier 3 or 4 Special Education Teaching license required

Must pass a background check and drug screening

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Setting 4 Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year in the Coon Rapids, MN area. We're seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting.

What You'll Do

Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners

Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans

Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams

Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills

Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records

Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or Related Field

Active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4)

Must pass background check and drug screening

Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred
