Job Description

This role focuses on performing high-quality MIG and flux core structural and plate welding on bridge and large office building projects. You will complete critical structural welds that must meet stringent state and federal transportation codes and successfully pass a hands-on weld test administered to AWS D1.5 bridge welding specifications prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on structural steel components for bridge, commercial, and large-scale construction projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding drawings, and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) to ensure accurate fabrication and code-compliant welds.
• Fit, assemble, weld, grind, and finish structural steel components while maintaining high standards for quality, penetration, and appearance.
• Complete weld testing and inspections in accordance with AWS D1.5 Bridge Welding Code and applicable state and federal specifications.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bath, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Bath,PA.
