Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of students, integrating emotional, social, and educational factors into personalized care plans.

• Develop and implement intervention strategies aimed at addressing the unique needs and goals of students and their families. This may include individual counseling, family therapy, or group interventions.

• Facilitate communication between students, their families, and school staff, ensuring all parties are informed of the resources and support available.

• Advocate for students by helping them navigate school policies and access relevant community resources, including mental health services and social support programs.

• Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to meet evolving needs and objectives.

• Maintain precise documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and care plans in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and valid licensure as a Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of New Jersey.
