In this essential role, you will collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to support the well-being of individuals in a welcoming clinical environment within the Midwest region.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care and support under the supervision of licensed nurses and physicians.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans alongside the healthcare team.Perform basic patient assessments, including vital signs, and communicate findings to nursing staff.Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and visitors.Assess and document physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients in the clinic.Document nursing interventions and patient responses.Prepare for and assist with office procedures such as injections, immunizations, phlebotomy, tympanograms, EKGs, and vision screenings.Make referrals to other providers and facilities as directed.Report test results to patients promptly with provider instructions.Education & LicensureGraduation from an accredited nursing or medical assistant program is required.
