General Summary:

Firearm Records Clerks are responsible for and assisting in the process of submitting NICS checks through regulated channels. You will work closely with the firearms sales associates, departmental managers, and training coordinator to ensure accuracy in all stored files as a Firearm Records Clerk. Data entry skills and confidentiality are a must.

Qualified candidates must be available to work Sundays-Thursdays a combination of 9am-5pm and 11am-7pm shifts on the retail floor at the NICS counter.

Application Requirements:

• Qualified Firearm Records Clerk candidates must be able to pass a standard background check
• Strong computer skills; including a working knowledge of Microsoft programs
• Help customers understand and complete the Federal 4473 background check form
• Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, coworkers, and other business contacts
• An attention to detail is critical with a strong ability to multi-task
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of days, nights, and weekends as a Firearm Records Clerk

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
