We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our small team. In this role, you will not be limited to a single repetitive task. Instead, you will handle a dynamic mix of day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, and client interactions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, working independently, and collaborating directly with company leadership.

Core Responsibilities 

• Financial Management: Prepare, analyze, and maintain financial records, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Month-End Close: Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• A/R Oversight: Handle accounts receivable, collections, and invoicing.
• A/R & A/P Oversight: Invoice auditing and accounts payable processing,
• Reporting: Prepare clear and reliable financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and internal software systems.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years of professional accounting experience (experience in a small business environment is a major plus).
• Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with small business accounting software (preferably Microsoft Business Central) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Adaptability: A self-starter mindset with the ability to pivot between tasks in a fast-paced small office setting.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal team members and external clients.
