Brand Ambassador Chef

As a Brand Ambassador Chef, you will promote our products by acting as a culinary expert to increase brand awareness, engagement, and sales. Key responsibilities include creating and demonstrating recipes, engaging with customers, chefs and potential clients, staying informed on competitive products and culinary trends, and representing the brand positively through various channels like sales presentations, events, and social media. You will serve as the face of our brand, creating positive experiences, building strong relationships, and increasing brand awareness both online and offline.

Position Reports to: Vice President of Marketing & Sales

Job Location: This position is onsite at our Melrose Park, IL Facility.

Responsibilities

Brand Promotion & Engagement:

Act as a positive representative, promoting Caputo’s products and brand values through personal interactions and content creation.

• Culinary Expertise & Education:

Share product knowledge, demonstrate recipes, answer questions, and educate customers on the Caputo product portfolio and their uses.

• Sales & Business Development:

Drive sales by communicating product value, understanding customer needs, and building relationships with potential clients.

• Content Creation:

Be a part of the team that develops and shares content, such as videos, blog posts, and recipes, to highlight Caputo’s strengths and reach a wider audience.

• Event Participation:

Represent Caputo at industry tradeshows and events, providing tastings, education and demonstrations.

• Market Insight:

Gather and provide customer feedback and market insights to help Caputo improve its products and Marketing/Sales strategies.

Required Skills

• Culinary Skills:

Strong knowledge of food preparation, product handling, and culinary techniques relevant to Caputo’s products.

Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with customers, clients, and the public.

Sales & Marketing Knowledge:

Understanding of sales principles and marketing strategies. Previous Sales and Marketing experience preferred but not required

Professionalism & Outgoing Personality:

Represent the brand in a professional, authentic, and engaging manner. Must be charismatic, enthusiastic, and confident to effectively represent the brand in public-facing situations.

Adaptability:

The Ability to learn new products and features quickly and adapt to different environments.

Networking Abilities:

Strong interpersonal skills to build genuine, lasting relationships with industry peers and customers.

Qualifications

• Education

Culinary degree preferred.

• Experience:

10+ years of experience working in the culinary field in the Foodservice/Manufacturing segments

3 years of Sales Experience preferred.

• Travel required (within the continental USA)
