In this role, you will provide Point-of-Sales (POS) support for Legends Hospitality concession locations at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The position’s primary focus is event-day support for POS terminals and related equipment, as needed. You will also be trained to become an expert in Clover Sport POS software, enabling you to effectively provide end-user support and perform POS maintenance.This is a part-time position, with hours allocated based on the event schedule. This is an ideal opportunity for students seeking a part-time, entry-level position in the point-of-sale or IT field. The person who fills this position will succeed if they are available to work flexible hours in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities. Event attendance is of primary concern. Applicants should be able to work weekends and evenings or whenever an event is scheduled.ResponsibilitiesProvide level 1 support for all point-of-sale system problems and escalate when necessaryConduct stadium walk-through to ensure all systems are operational prior to and during all eventsReplacement of defective hardware before, during, and after eventsDiagnosis of software errors versus hardware breakageConduct basic network troubleshootingAid in cable management efforts and maintain the neat appearance of POS register areasMaintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and adhere to all standards and practicesQualificationsAvailability to work evenings and weekends in accordance with the event scheduleSome weekday availability is a plusStudying an IT-related field or experience in the IT field a plusExperience with POS systems is a plusExperience in hospitality a plusAbility to work independently and come up with solutions on the fly in high-pressure situationsAbility to walk/transport yourself the equivalent of 10,000+ steps at an event (you will not be sitting at a desk)Ability to communicate quickly and efficiently via SMS text/RadioAbility to lift 30 pounds to move POS equipment as required by the eventLegends & ASM Global is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer, and encourages Women, Minorities, Individuals with Disabilities, and protected Veterans to apply.
