Pre-Op RN Travel Contract – Surgical Center

Weekly Hours:
• 40 hrs/week
• Day Shift 8s or 10s

Shift Options:
• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Unit Details:
• 15 Surgical Suites
• 55–70 cases per day
• Pre-Op/Surgical Center setting (hospital-based, not a free-standing surgery center)

Requirements:
• BLS required
• Strong IV skills required
• Surgical care knowledge required
• Robotics experience preferred
• RNs will provide Pre-Op care only

Cases:
• All surgical specialties
• Same-day surgery patients
• Overnight stay surgical patients

Call & Weekend Requirements:
• 1–2 second-call assignments per schedule (monthly)
• One 24-hour weekend call shift (7 AM–7 AM)
• Rotating weekend coverage
• 8-hour shift on Saturday or Sunday (7 AM–3 PM)
• 30-minute call response time

EMR:
• Sunrise
• Epic transition scheduled

Additional Details:
• Floating to OR Holding Area as needed
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Surgical Center-specific orientation provided

Submission Requirements:
• Must live outside 50-mile radius
• Copy of unexpired driver's license required with submission
• Any licensing issues must be disclosed at time of submission
