Field Technician Level II

Field Technician Level II (Coral Springs) We are a 15‑year Microsoft Certified Partner focused on Microsoft products. We operate in a high‑energy collaborative environment that promotes excitement about our profession and fosters rapid learning. Your responsibilities will include providing consulting, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support services to a variety of customers both remotely and on‑site. The role requires assisting team members, multitasking, delivering outstanding customer service, and maintaining a solid work ethic. Candidates must work closely with customers in a range of settings—from large corporations to small businesses and residences—and be independently motivated while also thriving on a team. A minimum certification of MCP is required (Microsoft exam #70‑642). We support continued certification paths and reimburse technicians for approved Microsoft or CompTIA certification test costs. Business hours are 8:30 am‑8:30 pm, Monday‑Friday. Shifts are scheduled weekly. Overtime, work outside standard hours, weekends, holidays, projects, and overnight maintenance may be required. Skills Required: Troubleshooting PC‑based computer hardware Installation and configuration of Windows Server 2003 – 2012 Exchange 2003 – 2012 Active Directory configuration and maintenance (including GPO administration) Configuring Outlook (POP/IMAP, local Exchange, hosted Exchange) Installation and configuration of Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 (peer‑to‑peer and domain environments) Cable/DSL connections (shared Internet) Network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, port‑forwarding) OS reloads, data backup, and recovery (including third‑party software) Virus/spyware removal Printing (local and remote) Remote Desktop Connection (client and terminal server environments) VPN setup and operation (client and server) Wireless Wi‑Fi protocols and security

DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP

Beneficial Knowledge: Enterprise backup solutions (local/offsite) Enterprise AV/Malware solutions (GFI, Kaspersky) Virtualization with VMware and/or Hyper‑V

MS‑SQL 2005 – 2012
