Customer Service Specialist

Customer Service Specialist (eCommerce Support) Location: St. Louis, MO Position Status: Full Time About Us Schroeder & Tremayne, Inc. is a fast‑growing consumer products company with a strong presence in eCommerce and social commerce. We focus on delivering high‑quality products and an exceptional customer experience that drives loyalty, repeat purchases, and positive reviews. About the Role We are looking for a customer‑focused, detail‑oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Specialist. This role is primarily focused on supporting customers across eCommerce platforms (Amazon, Shopify, and social channels). You’ll handle day‑to‑day customer inquiries, assist with order issues, and ensure every interaction reflects our brand. This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role — ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving and helping customers in a fast‑paced environment. What You’ll Do Respond to customer inquiries via email, Amazon, and other eCommerce/sales platforms Assist with: Order tracking, returns, and exchanges Product questions and recommendations Monitor and respond to customer reviews and messages professionally and promptly Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to orders, shipping, and product concerns Escalate complex issues to internal teams when necessary Document customer interactions and ensure follow‑up is completed Identify common customer questions or recurring issues and share feedback with the team What We’re Looking For Required: 1–3 years of customer service experience (retail, call center, or eCommerce preferred) Ability to manage multiple inquiries at once in a fast‑paced environment High attention to detail and follow‑through Preferred (Not Required): Exposure to Amazon Seller Central, Shopify, or similar platforms Experience responding to online reviews or social media comments Familiarity with CRM or customer support tools Experience within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is a plus Key Traits for Success Strong problem‑solving skills Organized and reliable Professional, patient, and empathetic communication style Comfortable handling repetitive, task‑based work Who Should Apply This role is a great fit if you: Enjoy helping people and solving day‑to‑day customer issues Prefer a hands‑on role rather than managing people or projects Have worked in customer service and are interested in learning more about eCommerce platforms Have experience in retail, eCommerce, or consumer products (CPG) —or want to build experience in this industry Are comfortable handling a high volume of emails/messages and staying organized Take pride in clear communication and getting the details right Want to be part of a team where customer feedback matters This Role May NOT Be a Fit If You Are looking for a management or leadership position Prefer strategy, project ownership, or process design over daily execution Want to own eCommerce listings, analytics, or product strategy Are primarily focused on marketing, content creation, or business development Why Join Us Work with a growing eCommerce business across multiple platforms Gain hands‑on experience in Amazon, Shopify, and social commerce Collaborative, team‑oriented environment Competitive benefits package including 401(k), medical, dental, vision, and PTO We offer a competitive benefits package including 401(K) with employer match, medical, vision, dental, life, LTD, FSA, and paid time off.
