Technical Support Engineer, Emerging Tech Services Boston, United States | Posted on 09/08/2023 Amazon Robotics is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their Emerging Tech Services team. This role involves providing technical support for Amazon's distributed network across North America and Europe, with a focus on maximizing the performance of advanced robotics systems. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with experience in technical customer support and knowledge of relational database management systems. The position requires working on a flexible schedule from 3 PM to 1 AM EST, Wednesday through Saturday, for 10 hours a day and 4 days a week. The Technical Support Engineer will develop metrics, tools, and procedures to monitor system performance, proactively detect and resolve issues, and implement preventive measures. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, the ability to work independently, and experience with networking and IT are essential for success in this role.
