Housekeeping Crew Member

Housekeeping crew member performs a variety of tasks related to custodial and cleaning services before an event, during an event, and after an event. Also responsible for routine trash removal and facility cleanup. Ability to work odd or unusual hours, split shifts, or holidays in preparing for an event. Ability to perform routine custodial and minor maintenance work in the cleaning and care of the facilities.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00.

Responsibilities

• Mix and prepare cleaning products; clean facility interior and exterior; vacuum, sweep, mop, clean, and wax floors.
• Ensures a safe environment for patrons; removes liquids and debris from walkways through the building during events.
• Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures; replenish supplies in restrooms. Wash windows, mirrors, walls, and countertops.
• Remove and dispose of debris from parking lots and walkways; empty waste receptacles.
• Perform additional staff functions for events.
• Report known or expected irregularities to the immediate supervisor to ensure compliance.
• Follow OSHA and in-house safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• 1-3 years of related work experience cleaning multiple facilities.
• Working knowledge of building cleaning practices, methods, supplies, and equipment.
• Ability to perform routine and repetitive custodial tasks without immediate supervision.
• Ability to lift/push heavy objects.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Required to successfully complete on site CPR and blood borne pathogen training.
