OVERVIEW: We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Marketing Automation Specialist with 8+ years of experience to join our Automation & Delivery team. In this role, you'll help drive last-mile campaign delivery by building personalized and scalable experiences across email, messaging, and web touchpoints. You'll own technical execution in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including journey building, automation and end-to-end execution. You'll work across integrated channels—from email to messaging and splash/webinar pages—delivering real-time content, dynamic data integrations, and seamless user journeys. You must be technically fluent, operationally excellent, and passionate about translating marketing strategy into real-world execution.

ABOUT TEAM: This team sits on the B2B side, supporting businesses that buy ads as well as those that purchase enterprise products. Those products include business messaging, Business Agent, and an accompanying self-serve tool. The team drives end-to-end marketing for this portfolio to the customers who buy these products, and the contractor will support last-mile campaign delivery as the team absorbs additional scope tied to newer initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build and optimize multi-step automation journeys in SFMC using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Content Builder and ABM tools like Demandbase/6sense
• Own dynamic content personalization using Movable Ink and SFMC scripting (AMPscript, SSJS).
• Leverage knack for audience creation, logic setup, and governance across multiple channels.
• Manage and deploy Splash pages for webinars, events, and landing page experiences.
• Implement web forms and tagging using basic front-end skills (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and coordinate QA/testing across devices and platforms.
• Work with Salesforce Data Cloud to integrate real-time audience insights and segmentation into campaign execution.
• Use SQL for audience segmentation, data extensions, and performance analysis within SFMC and external data environments.
• Partner with teams using tools like Highspot for content upload & measurement attribution and reporting, ensuring performance insights are integrated into future campaigns.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners (MarTech, Analytics, Creative) to manage timelines, requirements, and technical delivery.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, tagging standards, and campaign QA best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SFMC, with deep knowledge of Journey Builder, ABM tools like Demandbase, AMPscript, SQL, and cross-channel campaign execution.
• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Data Cloud for campaign targeting and personalization
• Proficiency with Knack, including logic structuring and audience governance.
• Experience with Event tools like Splash or Rainfocus, Zoom, and dynamic content tools like Movable Ink and highspot.
• Basic front-end development skills (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) for building and troubleshooting content and forms. Familiarity with measurement and attribution platforms like Tableau.
• Excellent organizational and technical project management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-heavy environment.
• Self-starter mindset with a strong bias for execution and continuous optimization.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS:

1. Hands-on experience across Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Data Cloud, including Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
2. Experience with an ABM platform such as Demandbase.
3. Strong analytical skills, including SQL-based segmentation and campaign performance analysis

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS / PREFERRED:

1. Multi-channel marketing experience, including email, and managing complex customer journeys.
2. Event marketing and event platform experience (Splash, RainFocus, Zoom).
3. Adaptability in a highly dynamic environment where requirements and priorities shift frequently.
4. Experience with business messaging platforms, and integration of chat automation into broader marketing workflows.
5. Familiarity with campaign analytics, tagging strategy, and funnel conversion metrics.
6. Comfortable operating within a high-performing, fast-moving growth marketing team.
