Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will: Conduct in-depth counseling and therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques to address clients' emotional and psychological challenges. Perform comprehensive assessments, formulating tailored treatment plans that align with each client’s needs and goals. Maintain meticulous client records, including clinical documentation and progress notes, in adherence to our organizational policies and ethical standards. Develop and implement effective discharge plans collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members, ensuring a smooth transition for clients post-treatment. Provide immediate crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute psychological distress, applying evidence-based strategies for stabilization. Engage in regular consultation with clients’ families and support systems, providing guidance and coordination around treatment planning and discharge strategies. Patient Population / Client Focus Our clinic serves a diverse range of clients from varying backgrounds, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. Qualifications A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field. Active licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LICSW, or equivalent mental health credential. Minimum of three years of experience providing mental health counseling in an outpatient setting, demonstrating a solid track record of effective interventions. Proven ability to work independently, with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong proficiency in using computer systems and software, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record platforms. Preferred Experience Experience in a remote work environment is highly desirable, as you will need to navigate virtual sessions effectively while building rapport and trust with clients. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or solution-focused therapy will enhance your ability to serve our clientele effectively. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $105,000 per year, in addition to a robust package of benefits designed to support your well-being.
