What You’ll Do Depending on the opportunity, attorneys may work on matters involving: Complex commercial and business disputes Corporate and partnership litigation Fiduciary duty and business tort claims Fraud and misrepresentation claims Shareholder, member, and ownership disputes Professional liability matters Construction and development‑related litigation Appellate support and strategic motion practice Responsibilities May Include Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and substantive litigation documents Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda Managing discovery and litigation deadlines Taking and defending depositions Participating in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials Assisting with case strategy and client counseling Working directly with partners and clients on sophisticated litigation matters Qualifications JD from an accredited law school 2–6 years of litigation experience Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents Excellent communication and organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Strong professional judgment and attention to detail Preferred Experience Florida state and/or federal court experience Experience with depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, or trial preparation Prior experience with a litigation boutique, regional, or AmLaw firm Sophisticated commercial litigation matters Direct client contact and meaningful responsibility Trial and courtroom experience Mentorship from highly regarded litigators Hybrid and flexible work arrangements Partnership‑track opportunities Competitive compensation and bonus structures Collaborative and entrepreneurial cultures Opportunities ranging from boutique firms to national platforms Why Work With VCG Attorney Recruiting?
