With active locations in Myrtle Beach and Mooresville, NC, and future communities throughout the Southeastern United States, this is an opportunity to get in on the "ground floor" and grow!The New Home Sales Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective buyers through the home-buying process, from initial inquiry to closing. This role combines sales expertise with product knowledge of the builder's home designs, communities, and financing options to help customers find the right new home while meeting sales targets.Essential ResponsibilitiesGreet and engage prospective buyers at model homes, sales offices, or community events.Present and explain floor plans, community amenities, available lots, and pricing options.Guide customers through the sales process, including contract writing, options and upgrades selection, and financing referrals.Follow up with leads generated through walk-ins, online inquiries, referrals, and marketing campaigns.Maintain accurate records of prospects and sales activity in a CRM system.Coordinate with mortgage, title, and construction teams to ensure a smooth transaction from contract to closing.Conduct market research to stay informed on competitor pricing, incentives, and community offerings.Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quotas.Attend and represent the builder at community events, model home events, open houses, and industry functions.Ensure model homes and sales offices are presentable and well-stocked with marketing materials.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available inventory, pricing, and construction timelines.RequirementsCompetencies, Skills, Attributes, Experience, Licenses, Certifications requiredKnowledge of construction processes, floor plans, and building materials.Experience with mortgage and financing processes.Strong closing skills and a proven track record of meeting sales goals.Professional appearance and demeanor.Preferred Competencies & QualificationsHigh school diploma required; bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.Active real estate license (required or preferred, depending on state regulations).2+ years of experience in new home sales, real estate, or a related sales field preferred.Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.Familiarity with CRM software and basic computer applications.Ability to work weekends, when home shopping activity is often at its highest.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.AmeriCraft Homes does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
