About the Role Hite, Fanning & Honeyman is looking for an Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience to join our medical malpractice team. We’re looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running; conducting witness interviews, finding experts, attending depositions. This is a high-collaboration role for someone who takes pride in getting the details right. You’ll work closely with partners, other associates, and support staff. What You’ll Do Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs. Work with partners to advise clients on legal rights, options, and strategies. Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations. Future scope: Manage litigation files from inception through resolution. Other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For 2+ years of experience in medical malpractice or civil litigation Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage recurring, detail-heavy work without dropping threads Comfort with the Microsoft Office Suite Clear written communication — you’ll be coordinating & communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and vendors Self-starter who looks for ways to improve a process rather than just running it Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
