San FranciscoSolutions Engineering /Full-Time /On-siteAs a Solutions Engineer on the commercial team, you will work closely with our Data Science, Enterprise Sales, and Executive team to close new business through solution expertise. For Windfall’s commercial sales motion, the role of the Solutions Engineer is multi-faceted.You will be a strategic advisor to our internal sales team, solutions architect for our prospects, a product representative for demos, and voice of the customer in driving our GTM strategy.You should enjoy solving problems and collaborating with others, and have a strong understanding of the AdTech/MarTech ecosystem. You need to be comfortable working with executive-level stakeholders and experienced product leaders, and can easily facilitate conversations with both technical and nontechnical audiences.We’re on a mission to change how organizations perceive and use people data. And we hold true to our core values of: (1) Be an excellent communicator; (2) Operate with transparency; (3) Provide leverage, not optimization; (4) Win when our customers win; and (5) Act with integrity and trust.Responsibilities:Understand business problems to find the best technical solution among all possibleDesign and deliver new workflows, tests, and POCs for clients, and make recommendations for new use casesPartner with commercial sales as the technical arm of relationship sellingDevelop deep relationships with the client’s technical teams and respect from their commercial organizationsDevelop expertise regarding internal tools and administrationDefine features, phases, and solution requirements, providing specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and deliveredDescribe the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of the technology to project stakeholdersEstablish & maintain internal relationships with adjoining teams to ensure the seamless external experienceAdvise teams on customer feedback, PoV, and effectiveness of collateralDocument customer business objectives, workflow diagrams, and success criteriaParticipate in the creation and delivery of customer-facing presentations (QBRs, Pitches, etc.)Conduct/participate in opportunity pre- and post-mortems, assisting with documentationAssist with account planning and whitespace analysisRequirements:Minimum of 2+ years in an external client-facing role with great EQ is essentialPrior experience in Solution(s) Role or AdTech/MarTech/Data industryScrappiness.
