SAGE Dining Services is seeking a Catering Assistant in Easthampton, MA. Catering assistants are integral to the smooth operation of catered events. A catering assistant helps prepare food, set up event spaces, and serve guests to ensure that food service runs smoothly. The catering assistant helps with cleaning, organization, inventory, and hospitality. You will know your schedule at least a week in advance. We can discuss in the interview!

Successful final candidates for the position may be required to fulfill location specific health and safety requirements.

This is a year round position and the venue is open seven days per week. Schedule will include days/nights and weekends, however even working nights, you are typically done by 9 PM, unless there is a special catering event.

$30.00 Hourly

Ensure that our clients' catering expectations are met and exceeded through impeccable organization and flawless execution at every event.

Provide a professional and respectful tone to catered functions.

Assist in efficiently and professionally delivering, setting up, refreshing, and clearing every catered function.

Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.

Interact cheerfully with SAGE guests and provide service with a smile.

Restock and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guest enjoy an exquisite dining experience.

Clean all work areas and guest service areas on an ongoing basis.

Adhere to SAGE's safety and allergy prevention policies.

Adapt to additional duties as assigned by management.

Ability to set guest tables with uniform formal place settings.

Capable of following instructions.

Ability to properly set up a buffet or serving station.

Excellent customer service skills with a positive demeanor required.
