What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established protocols with precision.
• Scrutinize results for accuracy, diagnose errors, and perform maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, mentor new staff or interns, and support the maintenance of high lab quality standards.
• Uphold safety by maintaining a clean work environment and adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification throughout your tenure.
