Description – What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory assessments including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond, following established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and ensure samples are prepared for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary work environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtain ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Keep certification current throughout your employment.
