  • Specialty Backup Available: 1 NP & 1 Virtual Hmatologist
  • Support Staff Available: PA/NPs: 1
  • Reason for Coverge: Full-time Coverge Need
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospitl Prvileges Required: Yes (Chambersurg & Waybesoro)
  • Temporary Prvileges Available: Yes (for urgent needs)
  • Credentialing Timeline: 90 days (Standard)
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Chemotherapy administration
  • Immunotherapy administration
  • IVIG, IV Iron, and Non-chemotherapy injections
  • Port access (supervision)
  • Radiation oncology coordination
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active PA license or Universal License (IMLC)
  • Board: Double Boarded preferred (BC/BE)
  • Experience: Less experienced providers considered, experienced physicians in practice
  • Other Qualifications: Fellowship required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide outpatient hematology/oncology consultations and follow-up care.
  • Provide inpatient/ER consultation and patient care guidance for Hematology/Oncology.
  • Supervise infusion center treatments (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, IVIG).
  • Participate in call rotation (1 week/month), managing weekend and night call.
  • Participate in tumor board and coordinate radiation oncology referrals.
