This inpatient facility maintains established critical care protocols and the clinical resources necessary to support ICU-level services on an on-site basis. The facility operates with structured day and night shift coverage, including an intensivist in-house during daytime hours to ensure continuity of care for critically ill patients. Locum tenens Physician Associate coverage is sought beginning October on an ongoing basis.

The region offers a range of attractions suited to varied interests, including parks, open spaces, and cultural destinations. Clinicians on assignment may explore natural history exhibits, botanical gardens, and historic landmarks distributed across the area. The region provides accessible options for recreation, culture, and exploration throughout the year.

Clinicians will provide critical care coverage during 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) at an inpatient facility, with call required as part of the assignment. Responsibilities include intensive monitoring and management of critically ill patients, along with performance of standard ICU-level procedures throughout each assigned shift. An intensivist is present in-house from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM to support coordinated patient care, with the ICU census averaging 26-28 patients. Critical care or ICU experience is required for consideration.
