Regional Director of Quality - Americas OVERVIEWWe are seeking an experienced Regional Director of Quality to lead and advance the quality organization for a growing global manufacturer across the Americas region.This position is ideal for a mature, energized quality leader who can raise expectations across multiple stakeholders, strengthen process maturity, and establish measurable short-, medium-, and long-term quality objectives. The Regional Director will lead regional quality managers, partner closely with executive leadership, and promote a consistent culture of quality and continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing locations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide strategic leadership for the quality organization across the Americas, including operations in the United States, Canada, and Latin AmericaLead, develop, and support regional and subregional Quality Managers and quality engineering personnelEstablish measurable short-, medium-, and long-term goals aligned with business priorities and customer requirementsDrive consistency and process maturity across manufacturing sites, addressing system nonconformances and areas of subjectivityStrengthen quality systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards throughout the regionPartner with operations, engineering, supply chain, commercial leadership, and executive stakeholders to improve product quality and customer satisfactionOversee regulatory compliance and the continued development of regional quality management systemsMonitor quality KPIs, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective and preventive actionsLead structured problem-solving, root-cause analysis, risk reduction, and continuous improvement initiativesSupport internal, customer, supplier, and certification audits while ensuring timely resolution of findingsPromote accountability, collaboration, and a strong quality culture across a geographically dispersed organizationProvide regular quality performance updates and strategic recommendations to global and regional executive leadershipQUALIFICATIONS10+ years of progressive quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment5+ years of experience leading quality teams across multiple manufacturing sites or geographic regionsDemonstrated success improving quality systems, operational performance, and process maturityStrong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory compliance, auditing, corrective action, and continuous improvement methodologiesExperience developing and managing quality metrics, strategic plans, and measurable performance objectivesProven ability to influence senior leaders and align cross-functional stakeholders around quality prioritiesStrong leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skillsAbility to travel throughout the Americas as business needs requirePREFERRED EXPERIENCEExperience within industrial packaging (crating), heavy / industrial machinery manufacturing, manufacturing for O&G, Leadership experience across the United States, Canada, and Latin AmericaWorking knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, and structured problem-solving toolsExperience strengthening quality organizations during periods of growth, transformation, or increasing customer demandTrack record of developing quality leaders and building accountable, high-performing regional teams
