Your daily work will involve reviewing land development plans, designing stormwater systems, and guiding public works projects from concept to completion. We're looking for a seasoned Professional Engineer with at least seven years of experience in municipal engineering. Non-Negotiables

• You must hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• You must have a minimum of seven years of relevant engineering experience
• You must possess a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania
• You must have demonstrated experience in municipal engineering and client representation
• You must be proficient in subdivision and land development plan review as well as stormwater and drainage plan review
• You must have hands-on experience with MS4 programs and public works design
• You must exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• You will serve as the Township or Borough Engineer, representing the firm at municipal meetings and presenting technical findings
• You will lead the review of development plans for compliance with local ordinances, including subdivision, land development, zoning, grading, and stormwater regulations
• You will design stormwater systems, detention basins, and oversee infrastructure rehabilitation projects
• You will prepare permitting packages for state and local agencies and produce detailed technical reports and feasibility studies
• You will manage escrow accounts, provide construction administration, and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders
• You will actively contribute to municipal account management and identify opportunities to expand services
• You will support strategic initiatives to enhance the firm's regional presence in municipal and utility engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is strongly preferred for design and drafting tasks
• Experience attending and presenting at public municipal meetings is a plus
• Familiarity with Pennsylvania's MS4 stormwater regulations gives you an edge
• Prior experience working as a municipal engineer or consultant is advantageous
• Strong project management skills with escrow account oversight are valued
• A master's degree in civil engineering or public works management is a nice-to-have
