The Controller will join a team of successful entrepreneurs in the eCommerce logistics space. Company has had amazing organic growth and is seeking a Controller to join as a senior member of the executive team. Role reports to CEO. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting and cost accounting expertise with the ability to create scalable processes, deliver actionable business insights, and support strategic decision‑making. Key Responsibilities Manage the relationship with the company's outsourced accounting provider and ensure accurate execution of day‑to‑day accounting activities. Oversee month‑end and year‑end close processes. Prepare accurate and timely monthly consolidated financial statements for multiple business units and operating locations. Develop and distribute monthly management reporting packages for executive leadership. Analyze financial and operational results, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations. Present financial performance, key business drivers, and strategic insights to the CEO and leadership team. Budgeting, Forecasting & KPI Development Lead the annual budgeting process across the organization. Develop rolling forecasts and long‑range financial planning models. Create and maintain KPIs that measure financial and operational performance. Cost Accounting & Operational Finance Develop and maintain cost accounting methodologies that accurately measure operational performance and profitability. Analyze labor, fulfillment, warehousing, transportation, and freight costs. Create reporting that measures profitability by location, business unit, and service offering. Process Development & Scalability Design and implement scalable processes to support geographic expansion. Standardize financial reporting and metrics across multiple locations and business units. Improve workflows, internal controls, and reporting processes. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 7+ years of accounting or financial operations experience CPA preferred AI accounting process improvement Ability to operate effectively in a startup or high‑growth environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
