Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Telemetry to join our medical-surgical unit. This role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting, with an emphasis on patient monitoring and assessment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
Monitor patients' vital signs and telemetry readings to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families about health management and discharge planning.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, documenting all nursing activities and care interventions.
Participate in unit meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Experience in Telemetry nursing preferred.
Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to make critical decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

This position requires availability for night shifts and day shifts, working three 12-hour shifts per week. Flexibility in scheduling is essential to meet unit needs.
