Position Overview
We invite a dedicated and empathetic Sonography/Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of healthcare professionals committed to delivering exceptional patient care. You will harness the latest ultrasound technology to perform comprehensive diagnostic examinations, work collaboratively with a team of skilled clinicians, and provide comfort and reassurance to patients through your expert imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Ensure that patients feel comfortable and safe throughout procedures while clearly explaining each step
- Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, addressing any technical issues promptly
- Document procedures accurately and uphold patient records within our electronic medical system
- Keep up with advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices in imaging
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program greatly preferred
Certification Requirements
- Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

- Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
