Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform diagnostic examinations, collaborate with a close-knit group of medical professionals, and help to provide reassurance to patients through accurate and timely imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during procedures, clearly explaining each step with compassion
• Work in close collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring any malfunctions are reported immediately
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records within our electronic medical system
• Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related study
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Able to work independently and as a vital part of a multidisciplinary team
