Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading corrugated packaging and paper products manufacturer, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production and operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a commit to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic 

Location: Minneapolis, MN. 

Pay Range: $28.15 - $40.13/hour

What’s the Job?

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on corrugated manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency. 
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production machinery, conveyors, printing presses, and related equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance calls in a fast-paced production environment, identifying root causes and implementing effective repairs. 
• Inspect, rebuild, and replace machine components including bearings, motors, gearboxes, belts, chains, cylinders, and other industrial equipment parts. 
• Collaborate with production and maintenance team members to support continuous improvement initiatives, maintain safety standards, and achieve plant performance goals. 

What’s Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment. 
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a production environment. 
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance practices, equipment inspections, and machine reliability principles. 
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, blueprints, and equipment documentation. 
• Commitment to workplace safety with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a maintenance team.
