Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
• Active SLPA licensure in the state or eligibility to obtain it
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary education team
• Familiarity with IEPs and case documentation is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans designed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
• Directly support students in individual or small group sessions to address communication goals
• Assist in preparing therapy materials and documenting student progress
• Participate in team meetings, supporting staff with observations and input as needed
• Maintain thorough records of sessions, goals, and outcomes for compliance
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to generalize therapy within classroom settings
