Field Service Technician

Field Service Technician Location: Cleveland, OH Employment: Direct Hire Compensation: $26-$30/hr Schedule: 40 hours/week About the Opportunity The Garment Field Service Technician is responsible for providing both onsite and remote service for Cintas apparel dispensing machines. What You'll Do Provide onsite and remote service for Cintas apparel dispensing machines within a 5‑hour radius from home base, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, network verification, and software upgrades. Be available for emergency service calls during nights and weekends (rare). Coordinate visits with the Field Service Coordinator, Cintas service location partners, and end customers. Develop and maintain relationships with Cintas partners and end customers. Execute installation of apparel dispensing machines, including unloading, reassembly, network verification, and final checkout when within territory. Provide onsite training to Cintas MAMs, SSRs, and end users. Prepare and submit service logs and expense reports for travel expenses in a timely manner. Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in documentation and reporting in systems such as Salesforce, MaintainX, and Outlook. What You'll Bring High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years of Field service experience. What Sets You Apart Associate Degree. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Basic understanding of computer operating systems, networking, and troubleshooting. Exceptional communication skills, both within the team and with customers. Proficient in verbal and written English. Basic arithmetic skills. Ability to identify and quickly solve work process problems. Additional Information Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check. Travel within territory 3-4 weeks per month, with half of the trips not needing overnight stays. Some jobs may require week‑long stays (rare). Stand for prolonged periods on a concrete floor. Kneel, squat, stoop, recline, climb, crawl, or bend as needed. Adjust visual focus. Lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted or without lifting device.
