Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue02:30 PM - 07:15 PMWed02:30 PM - 07:15 PMThur02:30 PM - 07:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology campus by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, facility issues, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a positive workplace environment. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. At least one year of security-related experience is required. A Guard Card or license is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
