At a dynamic technology location, Allied Universal Security Officers conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue: 02:30 PM - 07:15 PM Wed: 02:30 PM - 07:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of technology-focused office spaces, common areas, parking facilities, and building perimeters to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns. Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation procedures. Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas; assist with visitor directions and access processes; and report observations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. CPR certification is preferred. A guard card/license is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
