Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Evans, GA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00, every other weekend required.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency room setting, focusing on trauma and acute care patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and manage care for patients with various emergency conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Assist in various procedures including IV insertion, Foley catheter insertion, and NG tube insertion.
• Run point of care labs and manage respiratory equipment with assistance.
• Coordinate patient care activities using SBAR for handoffs, narrating care based on AIDET principles.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Emergency Department RN.
• Current certifications: TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Positive, flexible, team-oriented, and patient-centered attitude.
