Echo Cardiogram Technician - Cardiology - Per Diem 8 Hour Variable Shift (Union)

Responsibilities Under general supervision of the Clinical Director, the Echocardiogram Technologist is responsible and accountable for performing Cardiac Ultrasound procedures: Transthoracic echocardiograms (including neonatal exam), Stress Echocardiograms (Treadmill and Dobutamine), assisting in Transesophageal Echocardiograms; as ordered by physician, according to established standards and protocols. Performs a variety of other cardiac tests including EKG, Treadmill and pharmacological Stress Tests. Minimum Education High School diploma or equivalent education. Minimum Experience Minimal 2 years of Cardiac Ultrasound experience in a hospital setting preferred. Licenses & Certifications ARDMS/CCI certification required. Current BLS certificate. BLS must be AHA certified. Compensation The hourly rate for this position is $52.93.
