CNC Operator Swiss, 2nd Shift

Branch Medical Group, a Globus Medical subsidiary, seeks a CNC operator for Swiss machines on the second shift to produce orthopedic and spinal implant components. The role involves machine setup, parts inspection, quality documentation, and adherence to manufacturing standards in a medical device environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned CNC Swiss machines to produce parts meeting dimensional specifications
• Measure, inspect, and load/unload parts; implement dimensional adjustments as needed
• Conduct basic machine changeovers and make minor program edits for part size
• Complete all quality control documentation and inspection sheets accurately
• Inspect products per drawings, work instructions, and process specifications

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to perform visual inspection using microscope on small parts
• Intermediate math skills in geometric and trigonometric formulas preferred
• Self-starter capable of working independently with strong organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills
