Key Responsibilities\n

Your role as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist will encompass a variety of responsibilities tailored to meet the needs of your clients. These include:

• Conducting thorough initial assessments to evaluate the severity and duration of mood disorders in clients, utilizing standardized tools and your clinical expertise.

• Collaborating with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, preferences, and treatment goals.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions for mood disorders, specifically incorporating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Providing psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders and effective self-care strategies, helping to demystify the challenges they face.

• Monitoring client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting therapeutic approaches and treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive and holistic approach to care.

• Documenting all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will primarily work with individuals facing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
