Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Special Education Teaching credential is required
• Prior experience working with students who have moderate cognitive impairments preferred

• Flexibility and a team-oriented mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to support students’ unique learning styles and cognitive needs
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals and support staff to enhance classroom learning
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment that encourages student engagement
• Assess, monitor, and document students’ progress regularly; adjust instruction as needed
• Communicate consistently with families, therapists, and other educators to support students’ growth and well-being
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and ensure educational compliance with state and federal guidelines
