Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What we’re seeking:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Previous experience with middle school-aged students preferred
• Knowledge and practice in teaching students with moderate cognitive impairments
• Strong ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
• Skilled in modifying curriculum and instruction to meet unique student needs

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction and interventions tailored to each student
• Adapt lesson plans and teaching methods for diverse cognitive needs
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust interventions as needed
• Collaborate with families, related service providers, and faculty to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and IEP goals
