Schedule

Monday - Friday | 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Fabricate and fit structural steel frames, skids, platforms, supports, and heavy assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols.
• Measure, mark, cut, fit, and align steel components to specifications.
• Perform tack welding and production welding using MIG and Flux-Core processes.
• Utilize grinders, saws, calipers, tape measures, clamps, and other fabrication tools.
• Ensure proper fit-up and maintain quality throughout the fabrication process.
• Inspect completed welds and assemblies for accuracy and structural integrity.
• Work closely with welders and production teams to meet project deadlines.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Structural Fitter, Structural Welder, or Combo Welder/Fitter.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication blueprints.
• Strong experience measuring, fitting, cutting, and assembling structural steel.
• MIG welding experience, including 3G welding on carbon steel.
• Flux-core welding experience on skids, structural assemblies, or heavy fabrication projects.
• Experience using standard fabrication equipment and measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled fabrication environment.

Work Environment

This position is based in a structural steel fabrication shop where you'll work with heavy steel components, welding equipment, fabrication machinery, grinders, saws, and precision measuring tools. The facility is non-climate controlled, and safety remains a top priority throughout all operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
