The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. Position Details\n \n Start Date: ASAP \n Contract Length: 13 weeks \n Shifts: 3x12 Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM, weekdays, with some weekends required \n Patient Ratio: Typically 1:4; may flex to 1:5 during emergencies \n Blocked Schedule Consideration: Weekend blocks (Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon) available \n Unit Information\n The Stepdown / Immediate Care Unit primarily caters to patients with varying acuity levels, often including individuals who may be classified as Progressive Care or Tele patients in larger healthcare settings. Qualifications\n \n Certifications Required: BCLS, ACLS \n Skills Required: \n \n IV start \n Telemetry monitoring \n \n Experience Required: \n \n 1.5 - 2 years of nursing experience \n 1 year of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry \n 2 years of experience in Stepdown care \n Ability to interpret cardiac strips \n \n Travel Experience: Not required \n Scrubs: Not provided; burgundy and/or white scrubs required \n EMR System: Cerner \n Additional Information\n Holiday requests for time off should be limited to a maximum of 2 of the 4 major holidays.
