Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for Med Surg patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient responses.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor for adverse effects and document effects.
- Monitor vital signs and patient status; identify changes and escalate to the physician as needed.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control practices, and discharge planning through collaboration with the care team.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Oregon
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Med Surg nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Willingness to participate in a travel temporary assignment
