Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly qualified Associate to join its Supreme Court and Appellate Practice in Chicago, IL. This role offers the opportunity to work on high‑stakes appeals, key trial‑court motions, and legal strategy with a nationally recognized team. Duties Collaborate with trial teams to frame and preserve issues for appeal. Craft merits and amicus briefs for appellate cases. Engage in complex litigation and dispositive motions in lower courts. Represent clients in high‑profile pro bono matters. Requirements Completion of an appellate clerkship. Strong analytical, research, and writing skills. Experience in appellate litigation at a firm or in government service preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Admission to the state bar.
